The Jaguar XK 120DHC was the first post-war sports car produced by Jaguar & shown at the British International Motor Show in 1948 as a concept car to test the new Jaguar engine. The design was so successful that Jaguar decided to put the car in production. The “120” refers to the top speed of 120 mph (192 km/h) making the XK 120 the fastest production car of its time.
