Fantastic “Special” version of the iconic Jaguar D-type Le Mans built with a RAM (Realm Engineering) body on a Jaguar MKVIII chassis from 1958 with a straight-6 3,8 Jaguar MK X engine (265HP) and all round disc brakes.
Innovative monocoque construction, aerodynamic body for this rare model…
Based on a Jaguar MKVIII chassis and powered by a straight-6 3,8L Jaguar MKX engine. No words needed to explain the power of this “lightweight” sports car.
Designed specifically to win the Le Mans 24-hour race, powered by 3,4L first, enlarged afterwards to 3,8L in 1957 and reduced again to 3,0L in 1958 when Le Mans rules limited engines for sports racing cars to that maximum.
