This pretty 300SL Roadster spent forty years in the mild climate of California which partly explains its remarkable condition. In 2000, it came back to Europe and stayed in a major & notable collection for the next ten years. The car has never received a full restoration in its lifetime. Instead, it has been driven, enjoyed and perfectly well maintained. This is one of the reasons the engine runs that smooth. The other reason is the complete and thorough engine overhaul realized in our workshop. Originally, the car was delivered in the paint “Feuerwehr Rot” with the actual Caramel leather interior (car Datacard).
